Possible Issues w/ Google Chrome

Postby Wulf 359 » Sat Jan 24, 2015 8:21 pm

Tried, just for grins, loading up Google Chrome browser to play DCR 2, and after I clicked the play screen, the area that usually has the login block showing then, and the map area once that is passed, was totally blank. The rest of the page has the expected DCR website stuff in each of their respective areas.

Edit: tried leaving it alone, like maybe it was waiting for it to load. Did like 3 or 4 races, no change.

Not sure if it is something with my comp or not, was doing that on my laptop. I sometimes can play on my roommate's comp, but when I try using Chrome on it, and firefox, I keep getting assaulted with pop-ups from hell, so I am usually using IceDragon Comodo browser (on it right now actually).

I have that same issue with IE. I think it has something to do with the plugin across multiple browsers, but I really don't care to figure it out. I was only trying for Beta test purposes. For the most part, I don't use IE for anything except one specific site that I have to use IE for work purposes.

It could be plugin, permissions or something odd along those lines.

My condolences. :P

I remember from the days you had to pick between Internet Exploder or Netscrape. Of course, that being said, I also remember before the internet was public, when you had to log in to one site at a time. Of course, most ppl called them BBSs.
